Let the Babbling Begin!

As I enter the blogasphere and claim my own little corner of the internet, I'm reminded of that eternal question "if a tree falls in the woods, but no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?". I always hated that saying anyway, I mean of course it still makes a sound, right? But for the purposes of this example, I'm thinking of my blog as the "tree". I'm throwing my words out there, but if no one reads them...well there ya go. And if you've lost interest by now, I don't blame you. I don't really expect anyone to read this blog (except my sister who basically bullied me into this *hi jackie*), but that's ok. I'm looking at this partially as an exercise in finishing what I start (not something I'm known for) and also as a way for me to express my opinions in the most critical way possible (something I AM known for). So if you stumbled upon this blog by accident and you've made it this far I say welcome! However, to the ones who ran away after the first sentence yelling "TIIIMMMBEEEEERRR!!!!", I have no hard feelings...mostly.
